Japanese cd re-issues

Why are Motown Japan re issuing MR&V Black Magic and The a Supremes 1975 - both recently issued in the past few years??

why not release the albums that have never made cd by other motown artists???

In addition to reissuing the Motown "usual suspects", Universal Japan has also been releasing some Motown albums that have either never been released on CD or have been hard to find. I picked up three such albums that Universal Japan released in late 2013: "2nd Time Around" by the Spinners, "Best of the Fantastic Four" by the Fantastic Four, and "With a Lot O' Soul" by the Temptations. All three of these releases are just straight reissues of the original LPs with nothing in the way of extras like bonus tracks, but they are excellent. Another rare Motown CD that Universal Japan is releasing next month is "Stop the World We Wanna Get On" by Hearts of Stone. Hopefully, Universal Japan will get around to releasing more rare [[or not previously reissued) Motown albums.

i have the Hearsts of stone cd from japan, a few years back great only downside cd info is japanese

There seems to be a host of Greatest Hits and Best Of CDs coming soon, including the Detroit Spinners one from Motown [[with the wheel on the cover). Also coming [[again?) is the Severin Brown album on CD and "Totally Tata" from Tata Vega.
