Thank you for sharing this - after seeing Miss Ross a few times last week, and now this, I'm so grateful we still have our leading ladies of Motown. Let's face it: no one can sing like Martha Reeves. How long was her set? What else did she sing? Was anyone else on the bill? Her band is great and the dress is a knock out. Live Wire is 50 - I wonder if she ever does it.

Martha did a few tracks. Heat Wave Too Many Rivers To Cross, Dancing In The Street, I Cant' Help Myself SIgned Sealed Delivered I'm Yours. It wasn't a concert as such, it was a promotional spot for a photograph exhibition. Some young guy was put on stage with Martha and he had his own small entourage of supporters. Clearly inexperienced but I guess he was some kind of new hopeful star. Later Martha took some questions from the audience - some of which were a bit silly but Martha handled them perfectly.

Martha praised Sharon Davis for all her hard work and support over the years and asked her to join her on stage. A lovely moment.

Viola Billups aka Pearly Gates of the Flirtations was also called on stage

A true surviver and her star shines brighter than any other Motown star.

According to what Martha told me many years ago, they never performed "Live Wire" on stage as it didn't become a big hit.

On a promotional visit to the UK in 1964, she told us "Live Wire" was too fast to perform.

I actually enjoyed this performance by Martha Reeves. Great to see her still performing.
