Supremes/3 Degrees and other girl group fans may be interested to know that Freddie Pool [[aka Freddi Poole) - latest recruit to the 3 Degrees and former member of FLOS, Wild Honey and The Delicates - has recorded a limited edition CD single for Driving Wheel Records. This is her first ever solo record. She was apparently offered a deal by Berry Gordy and recorded a song called "Cryin'" which is in the vaults, but was unwilling to leave her group at the time [[Delicates). See:

This is the same producer, Dave Powner, who since 1999 has recorded Sundray Tucker [[as Cindy Scott) who was a Northern Soul favourite in that psuedonym with "I Love You Baby" among others. Sundary/Cindy has made several solo albums and EPs with Driving Wheel beginning with the critically acclaimed "The Loving Country" all available on amazon and itunes. Freddie replaced Sundray in the FLOS. Sundray is the older sister of 70s Supreme Lynda Laurence and was in many groups herself, including The Ordettes, The Bluebells [[replacing Cindy Birdsong), Wonderlove, Ernie Terrell & The Heavyweights [[replacing Jean Terrell) Three Degrees. Is that a record? Quite a pedigree!
