passed away in Houston Texas.

She was a great help to me spiritually
when my 3rd wife, the late great
Cecilia Rose passed away on April 16, 2012

Nancy loved Glen Campbell.

We had 10 years together.
and
In a true act of love, she gave me custody of our daughter Pam
when she moved from Mass to Texas.
Last year, when she had a very serious operation, I sent
Pam down to see her. Pam came back and told me
that they didn't have much, so I sent her new husband
and Nancy $1500.
They were so grateful and touched.
They have never asked me for anything in 35 years. And
when my sister died in Houston in 1993, they came to her wake.

I know deep in both of our hearts, we loved each other.

My 3rd wife Cecilia was the best human being I have ever known.

My two children were miracle births. Pam, who is 47 was 3.5 lbs at birth 7 weeks early.
My son Eric, who is 35, was a 10 month baby, who was born Cesearean, only because the doctor was a great doctor.

Life has been good. My true belief is in the goodness of the human race.
Good will triumph over evil.
I have a peaceful heart.

I often say that my 3rd wife gave birth to my son when he was 13.

That's when he chose to come and live with us, and Cecilia was a strong strong parent during his high school and college years.

He just won a chess tournament this past weekend.

Cecilia's late brother Joe was the Washington Post chess critic for many years. When Joe would visit,
I would have my son Eric play Joe a few games. So Cecilia and Joe and Nancy must be proud today. When I retired last year from 49 years teaching high school math, Eric wrote a tribute in the local newspaper, which brought tears to Nancy's eyes way down in Texas.

I once met Otis Williams and the Temptations in 2002.
I emailed my first wife Nancy, who passed in March 2014, after meeting Otis
that I had met and talked to my favourite Motown group
the Tempations. Couldn't fool Nancy. She emailed back, " No way."
Levi Stubbs and the Four Tops were your favourite group."
