It has long puzzled me that there has never been a rerelease of LSTB on DVD as well as the CD soundtrack! I simply cannot believe that a stylish package of both together would not sell!

I have "heard" over the years that there are issues of "ownership, " or whatever .... but anything can be overcome and/or addressed if someone wants to do so. I don't want to start a blame game, but of all those involved in this project, who woudn't want this rereleased?????

It needs to be on Blu-ray for sure. Regardless of how you feel about it as a "biopic" or any personal feelings towards Gordy & Ross, it really was a milestone in Black Cinema. I am hoping for an expanded soundtrack too...Diana's first #1 solo album!
