No awkward ID photo for him!

It's so frustrating to watch Antiques Roadshow and hear about all these estate sales at musicians'/actors'/artists' homes where people find these gems. Why can't I ever find things like this? lol

I wonder who the musician was and what albums/45s did this person buy??

What if the Andantes "Like A Nightmare" was up in there?!? Isn't that allegedly the "rarest" Motown 45?!?

That and the Patrice Holloway are probably the 2 rarest outside of Frank Wilson. There's an Andantes acetate of that track in the Museum.

Is this recent, because what "Motown musician" has died recently?

I also wonder, why wouldn't it say "Gay" instead of "Gaye?" He didn't have it legally changed by '64 did he?

I never heard this song, but just listened on You Tube. It sounds a lot like Heat Wave and bit of Martha and early Supremes

I think he changed it in 1961 when he signed with Motown

I saw that on another site. Also that the guy who "found" it also used to work at the Motown Museum. Wonder if it REALLY fell out of a record he bought at a flea market. I guess it could be so if by "record" you mean "cabinet" and by "flea market" you mean "Motown Museum".

If he stole it from the museum it doesn't seem quite logical that he would literally broadcast that he had the stolen item to everyone, there are plenty of ways to appraise something without going on television!
