[B]/B]I have all 4 of the 1998-1999 Motown Lost & Found Series by the Temptations, Smokey Robinson & the Miracles, Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye. Inside each is a booklet describing the CD and on the next to last page they refer to the other 3 CDs in the series. None of them mention Gladys Knight and the Pips or the Jackson Five.

I just located a 4x4 Motown produced promotional card designated STDDL&F issued in 1999 which shows a picture on the front of the 4 CDs mentioned above and additional information on the reverse for each of the 4 CDs. Nowhere does it mention GK&P or J5.

Could you be thinking of the Pre-History [[The Lost Steeltown recordings) by the Jackson 5 that was released in 1996 by Inverted Records under license by Brunswick Entertainment Corporation? I know nothing about Gladys Knight and the Pips. Sorry.

There was talk of a GK&P L&F to be called "Time Can't Erase". Never happened but some of the tracks ended up on the Cellarful series. Then, of course, a couple of Jackson 5 CDs containing unreleased material "I Want You Back" and "Rare Pearls".

There was a Tower sampler issued in 2000 which listed Martha & the Vandellas` "Spellbound" and Gladys Knight and the Pips "Time Can`t Erase" there is no mention of a Jackson 5 release.

I'm really curious to know the proposed tracklisting for the GK& the Pips L&F.

I'm hoping that GK&P L&F will still happen. I just wonder if the stereo mix of If You Ever Get Your Hands On Love released on Cellarfull indicates that the mono mix [[which is probably superior) has been held back for L&F.

Here's hoping!

I thought the Supremes were originally part of those planned, yet canceled Motown Lost & Found collections.

They were included on the Tower Records sampler with an alternate version of STOP! But I think the credit just said that it was a track from the upcoming boxed set.

We did get a Supremes L&F in 2008: "Let The Music Play: Supremes Rarities"

If you zero in on the back of the CD you will see all the information that was released at that time regarding the songs on this particular CD.

I find it amazing to see that in addition to Gladys Knight and the Pips there was no mention of the Jackson Five, BUT, much to my surprise it did mention a Volume 2 of the Four Tops to be released as FORTHCOMING
Lost Without You VOLUME 2 1964-1970. I never saw or heard of Volume 2 for the Four Tops in the Lost and Found Series.
