Motown legend Diana Ross will headline the annual PACER Center benefit May 3 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
Tickets are $600 to $70 and are on sale via Pacer.org or 952-838-9000. Proceeds benefit children with disabilities.
Ross, who turns 70 in March, rose to fame in the '60s as the lead singer of Motown Records' most commercially successful act, the Supremes. She left the group in 1970 to pursue a solo career. She also dabbled in acting, appearing in "Lady Sings the Blues," "Mahogany" and "The Wiz." Billboard magazine once named her the "Female Entertainer of the Century."
In recent years, Ross has slowed down some, and has released just one album in the new century, 2006's "I Love You." She continues to tour, however, and played Minneapolis' Orpheum Theatre last August.
