It's a nice set but there really isn't much new on it. I ordered a few of the Funky Town Grooves GK&P releases. They include some bonus tracks like the instrumental Midnight Train To Georgia.

Its not really a boxed set in the sense of what most of us think of a real boxed set, with notes, a great booklet, etc. They put out a similar collection on Aretha, and it is the same. Just a collection of tracks [[albeit good), but with no real rhyme or reason.

I see only about three Motowns, but any collection with "Make Yours A Happy Home" is a good collection to me!

Exactly. It would almost certainly have to be an import because they would have had to license four record labels. I'm totally happy with these two CDs:
