Just revisited the first Rufus album before Tony Maiden entered the picture. That was an uneven album! Good stuff on it, though.

I don't even feel that way. I think it was pretty ambitous in retrospect. Maybe it came off that way when it was first released.

They explored different styles trying to find a sound. "Slip And Slide" Just didn't work as a single, though.
