I had been trying to convince my buddy Dennis who was friends with Brenda and her daughter Kimmy to convince Kimmy to get a tribute group together for her mother since I heard the young girl could blow and sounded similar to her. Well I just found out that Kimmy has passed an American Idol audition so be on the lookout for Kimmy Payton! Who knows, she just may start up that Tribute Group and will be on the oldies circuit soon!
