Jay Traynor has passed

The original Jay of the group Jay & the Americans passed away today, Thurs., Jan. 2nd, 2014. I have no details. He is the lead voice on their first big hit, "She Cried".

This is really sad news to me.
He was very supportive to me after my heart surgery.
We became good friends.
I will truly miss him.

Another loss to begin the New Year. Jay was a friend of mine on Facebook and was posting until recently. He's been struggling with liver cancer for two years.

My condolences to his family and friends. Thanks for the music, Jay.
