There's a relatively new vinyl reissue of Grace Jones' Slave to the Rhythm album as a picture disc by Universal, part of their Back to Black vinyl reissue series. I know she's not completely soul/r&b, but there are fans on this forum that might be interested in collecting this sort of item.

Of course she's R&B.... The title of her album is the first half of R&B! LOL

I was never a big fan of hers, to me she was more of a poser than a singer. But the funniest quote I ever read about her was after her appearance in the "Conan" film, one critic wrote, "It occurred to me that everyone is the opposite sex of Grace Jones!"

She's not the best singer in the world, but her whole stage persona is what really puts her over. She's a SHOWMAN, an artistic experience.

I cracked up when I saw her do Do Or Die it was the first time I had ever saw her and she had a wedding dress on and it was funny.

Grace Jones is definitely soul/R&B......trust me! LOL!!!

That one and the one where she was singing to a head that looked just like her and dancing with it. I think it was for "My Jamaican Guy" LOL! Strange aka"Strong-Jay"! hehehehehehehehehe..........
