Nice picture of the Supremes on the cover but the track listing shows no credits to the girls. However there are some recognisable Supremes songs there.

Yes, those artists credits via Amazon are indeed a real muddle - but a nice set and that picture is one of the best of The Supremes.

Would Jasmine be using vinyl as a source?

Talk about a ball of confusion! Not being a Supreme-aholic I don't mind girl group comps that don't feature them but why would someone use their name and image on a release
that doesn't? It's ridiculous. Also the track listings on the second disc mention two different
artists for some songs. They're not singing together, are they? So who's in the set? This look's like something put together by somebody chasing rye whisky with gin and smoking
angel dust spiked with crack...

Well the track listing posted here makes more sense, anyway. It's basically the "Meet the Supremes" album so we can assume it's not from the original masters.

Jasmine has some interesting releases, and their sound quality is decent, but I wouldn't put them up there with Ace/Kent or Hip-O as far as recording standards or integrity of the material.

Okay, have all the Supremes I ever could want. Have all of The Cookies, Orlons, Little Eva
and Chantels tracks listed. The only things I'm missing are some of the Shirelles cuts and the
Bobbettes. Think I'll just try again to get that Bobbettes comp I saw online awhile back and be done with it..

I am disappointed in the poor representation of the Chantels. They had some great songs on the END label and the producers of this CD failed to include their best numbers that they did during their career.
