Back in the 90s, Polygram released 2 CDs entitled "Greatest Hits" by Stevie Wonder.

These were CD versions of the UK and USA albums respectively, but having released the UK version with 16 tracks, why bother to then issue the US one with only 12? Note - "Greatest Hits Volume 2" followed directly on from the US version with cat no 530942.

I would assume that the UK and USA cd releases reflected the contents of the original album release in their territory. In the US, I know the original album release had only 12 tracks, so its not surprising that the cd had the same.
