I've spent the past 14 years searching for the most rare and interesting material for you...including this year. Thanks John. The mono version of My Christmas Tree has always been my favorite. Slightly dark, but what a wonderful performance by a young Diana. The stereo version is lighter with a minor lyric difference and fuller orchestration.

I believe My Christmas Tree was the first song Jimmy Webb sold.

It's a mystery to me why Julie London never recorded a Christmas album. It seems like a natural to me. I think she could have done a beautiful Santa Baby.:cool:

In 1957 Julie recorded "I'd Like You For Christmas" written by her hubby Bobby Troup. It was released as a b-side, but never made it to an album.
