Very true, but those issues always existed. Especially greed. I guess the narcissism [[inability for empathy and compassion) might be greater now than then or so it seems. People are just a whole lot meaner now! I think do in part to the net and being able to hide behind a monitor a spread all kinds of craziness. A project like this would be killed today because someone would tweet about it and facebook it etc. The net can be used to spread a lot of good info but there's also the flip side.

In addition to the ones above there's Curtis Blo , Run Dmc, Pat Benetar, Bob Dylan, Hall & Oates Bruce Springsteen. who am I missing Marv? There are so many.

^ I'm guessing he was wondering why "today's artists" seem to lack the same nerve to talk about serious issues now as they did back then.
