You've made me so very happy! The Velvelettes are often overlooked but I am so glad that you didn't forget them. Thank you

The top picture was used for the pink Motown Anthology. The graphic designer had to give Cal a hair style cos the photo shot cut it off! LOLOL

This is some good stuff--thanks for posting these. My favorite is the last one--just a simple snapshot, i.e. not a professional shoot, yet the quality sure isn't lacking.

Tbfxt & JL - My pleasure to post them. So glad you enjoyed them.

And here's one more I had meant to add to the bunch--probably not new to either of you but a great shot just the same, and I hadn't seen it before:

Well blow me down.......you've found one I don't remember ever seeing. Ii'll ask the ladies if they can remember any details.

Now, if Meth finds one with Cal, Annette and Gail posing casually, someone will likely have to pick JL up from the floor.

You're right Carole. Have you any idea who the guy is? Milly suggests that you could recognise him if you ignore him wearing the glasses. I still don't see it though.

I suspect that it is All Star, James Graves, Jr. Walker's drummer.
Perhaps the photo was taken when the Velvelettes were coupled with the All Stars for a tour and got to introduce Jr. Walker & the All Stars for the recording of one of Junior's live lp's.

It could be Richard Street?

Marv's guess might just be correct.

I`d be very surprised if it`s Richard Street. Mind you I`m often surprised.
