On the Brenda Holloway thread I've referred to the Love Line track as 'Staunton & Walker do Smokey'. However most of their released productions are much more dense, so much so I've come to think of them as the Phil Spectors of Motown.
Just listen to Say You, or Never Leave Your Baby's Side [[Martha), for instance.
