It's an excellant track. But her original version of I WHO HAVE NOTHING, done on an earlier album, is better than the versions on this CD

This is a good cd. I really like the songs I HOPE YOU DANCE, SETTLE, OLD SCHOOL, and I L-O-V-E YOU. But I wish there were more than nine tracks, especially since at least four of the tracks were released previously.

I had to listen to OLD SCHOOL a few times before I started liking it. I wish it also included the song that she recorded especially for the soundtrack of THE BUTLER. It should get a grammy and oscar nomination. When she performed it on Letterman, it literally gave me chills.

I didn't really like OLD SCHOOL until I heard her performance of it on Queen Latifah's show. That made me go back and give the cd itself a second listen.

I agree re the song from THE BUTLER. But the cd was already pressed and being sold by the time the film was released.

It took Gladys such a long time to get this cd released. Although a few songs were available on Amazon or I-Tunes, initially I think the only place to buy a physical cd was at one of her concerts.
