My 11 year old just requested a song and it blew me away that she knew it. It was....


[[I Love a) Warm Summer Night by Mary Wilson.

and then she asked for "that other song" by the same singer. Which after a search of the "Let Yourself Go" playlist ended up being Mary's version of "You're What's Missing in My Life". So Miss Mary Wilson has even the youngest generation amongst her fans! To quote Miss Ross.. "Go Mary!".

And the bigger victory, for which you should be breathing a sigh of relief, is that she didn't request "Early Morning Love"!!!!

I'm surprised she didn't request "The Ballad of Davy Crockett", one of my Mary favorites.

That is great to hear. She'll love hearing that! I know that "Red Hot" has been remixed and sample by younger artists.

In Hawaii once, my kids were asking for Ode to Billie Joe off the Reflections album.............in the 1990's.
