I remember I saw a few pictures from this performance years ago and kept trying and trying to search for them over the years but had no luck. Finally someone posted this one picture on the "Reflections: Supremes" Facebook page recently. This performance was from October of 1965 most likely performing "Nothing But Heartaches" [[then again they used the same choreography for "Come See About Me" too).

I truly appreciate postings of rare photographs of all the musical recording artists posted on this site, floyjoy678. Over the decades I've built up quite a collection of music related books, a good number which are photographic studies of a performer. Anyone who haunts big box book chains surely has noted the sheer volume of photo books on The Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc, etc. On SDF and Facebook, one can view the most fantastic array of candid photos and rarely seen publicity stills of the original Supremes, but there isn't one single high quality "coffee table" type volume that collects the very cream of the crop visuals of these woman in their youthful prime. We may guess at the reasons why, but surely there is a market to make such a volume commercially viable. Meanwhile, many thanks for posting this image!

I love seeing photos like this because it means there are still lots of television performances that haven't even surfaced the internet yet! The ladies look wonderful here, thanks for sharing.

I think the Small Faces would have been promoting their debut single "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" at that time. It was released here in UK in August 1965, as was 'Nothing But Heartaches'.

Small Faces made UK Top 20 with theirs, but I'm not sure if Supremes even made Top 50.....

Such a shame the BBC wiped so many of their 60's and 70's programmes. I had no idea the Supremes appeared again either. That Baby Love clip gets trotted out time and again and it looks like it's been kept in a garden shed, such is it's terrible condition.

All these classic performances lost forever...sigh

Look how happy Steve Marriott is in that pic between Diana and Flo. LOL Nice pics by the way. I can imagine they were doing "Back in My Arms Again" actually.
