Hey, if it's any help, you have a lot to look forward to. Your first Social Security check for example. But if it's of any help, I got my first one last month. Happy Birthday, Johnny.

Happy Birthday John ,and may you have many more healthy and happy ones.
It never crossed my mind as to how old you were, but I did expect that you were about late 30's early 40's. Mainly because of the way you use the modern technology and various sources of alternate recordings in making your remixes. They are extended yet they keep their vintage sound and the qualities that made the originals ,the classics that they are.
I'm just 6 years your junior ,and I grew up with Motown ,so now I really know how much fun you are having doing your mixes. I just got my copy of Cellar 4 ,which I will crack open this weekend and have a toast to you.
Again ,enjoy yourself and thanks. Peace..........

daddyacey...I thank you so much. Yes...in my delusional mind, I AM in my late 30's early 40's.
My use of technology? Well...thanks. I have tried to find a way to do what I wish Motown had done...to make these tracks longer. It's a very selfish thing. Now I don't have to play these songs over and over again to be "so satisfied". After playing my longer versions...it's QUITE enough [[*smile). I hated when Universal put out those "MODERN" remixes of Motown songs. It took something so classic and ....well, I felt those remixes became synthetic. I'm so glad you get what I have been trying to do...to make the tracks longer...and to leave well enough alone.
daddyacey....you will enjoy Cellar 4...just the pleasure and excitement of hearing a "new" Motown song...or 50 "new" Motown songs.
When you raise that glass to toast me....think of me thanking you....
Peace back to you...
John
