I found it odd that "The Supremes" were in character [[wigs, dresses, etc.), yet "The Vandellas" come out looking like Destiny's Child.

Also, the Diane Ross actress is obviously very much talented and looks and sounds like her. But the Vandella actress sounds nothing like Martha Reeves, whatsoever. I found that very odd.

I don't remember the women singing DANCING IN THE STREET wearing those outfits or those hairstyles in the musical or when they did the number on GOOD MORNING AMERICA. For that matter, the ensemble's attire looks different as well.

Perhaps for the ensemble performers, they decided to go for a more contemporary look, and left their costumes back in NYC .
