What a great clip! The two specials should be released on DVD. Would be a great PBS offering. I never played the "On Broadway" LP, it wasn't to my liking back then, but I'll have to get it out and listen to it again. Sounds great now.

Great clip; shows how versitle Diana [[the Supremes?) and the Temptations were. I agree; this should be released on DVD; wasn't there talk at one point? T.C.B. [[dvd) should at least be included on an Expanded Edition of the original LP. Good things come to those who wait, I suppose.....

I love [[LOL) the editing job at 1:05 in the above clip. Diana's walking, she's standing, she's walking. Almost as good as her miracle wig change at the beginning of T.C.B.

"Rhythm Of Life" was released as a single to that territory [[New Zealand, or was it Australia?) and it went Top Ten over there!!!.. the only "Supremes" single to do so [[as it was billed as Diana Ross & The Supremes...)

What surprised me about this clip is that Diane actually danced and, well moved, whereas in her solo shows she usually seems to be posing in a Diva-esque manner. I never thought of her as much of a dancer [[kind of like Cher, that lady can't move at all). Even with the Supremes, because of their choreography, they were always so restrained. But in this clip she shows a lot of versatility and soul - not a trait I often associate with her. I've always felt Diane was a great singer, but definitely not a soul singer.

A really great rendition of a great song. Love it!

According to the juke box strip, the other side to the single on Ebay is "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". This is the 45cat entry..

if you read the wiki entry [[and other similar info on this), there were different flip sides in different countries.."Rhythm" was the flip in Australia where it did indeed go to #2 on the Pop Chart..

While I like GIT it's always felt like a dress rehearsal to me somehow and it needed to be done one more time as a lot of it feels unpolished to me. And a live audience like TCB had would have helped...
