Howdy "Nightflight" Listeners! Plans to begin airing The Complete Motown Singles get pushed back yet one more week. Last week it had to be bumped because of the very quick opportunity to have Motown's KIM WESTON on the show...and I would bump most anything for her.
This week, TCMS is again patient for one more week.

On Fri, Sept 6th, Philly soul fans, and music fans in general, were, and are, saddened by the loss of one of the most important architects of the Sound Of Philadelphia....BOBBY MARTIN. His contribution to music in general, and Philly music specifically, was and is most extraordinary. It's hard to find a hit Philly song that Bobby wasn't involved with...as a producer, arranger, or writer...not to mention his duties as the conductor/bandleader of the the legendary MFSB. I feel compelled to pay tribute to this remarkable man.

Along with this tribute to Bobby Martin... joining me on-air live from NYC is the one man the keeps Philly Soul alive and well remixed, the great TOM MOULTON, who will share with his experiences and thoughts about working with Bobby Martin. Thanks so much, Tom!
