It would have fit better on Aladdin Records, rather than ANY Motown-related label, just as Bert Haney would have fit better on Luniverse, Paul Peterson on Colpix, The Abbey Tavern Singers on some Irish label, and The Messengers on Capitol, and The Gospel Stars on Nashboro Records.
