Hello All

Been trying to find the name of this track for a good while now.

Does anyone recognise it?

Its a short snippet used in a Motown mix I have.

If anyone could help I would be so grateful.

I know I have that recording. I just can't place it.

It starts out like "Need to Belong". Did Jerry Butler rerecord that song at Motown?

The arrangement sounds like a typical Fuqua-Bristol. Maybe it's by The Originals?

Sounds like the start of " Need to belong" by Bobby Taylor & the Vancouvers to me.

Written by Curtis Mayfield, Jerry Butler recorded it as "Need To Belong" [[Vee-Jay 567) Nice song...Bobby Taylor's version too
