After Livernois, Big Mack was based at
7018 West Warren (now demolished. I met a guy called Jim
Carnie in a bar in the lower east side, near Belle Isle
Bridge, and told him that I had been along to West Warren
looking for an old studio. He immediately told me it would
have been Big Mack and went on to describe the big sign that
was displayed on the side of the building. He said it
started off with a large M and tapered off with a small o.
