Edd Henry's 'Your replacement is here' was
released on Big Mack when the company was based on Livernois.
Edd also recorded with The Nickel and
Three pennies and released 'I love only you' on Nusound
which was probably earlier.
Interestingly, I met one of the backing
group in a bar in Benidorm, Spain. Ron Foster was spending
the season there (as did the likes of George Williams of The
Tymes) with a group called VARI. He spoke fondly of his days
in Detroit and mentioned Edwin Starr with great affection.
