I heard from Mike Theodore today and he gave me the news. I didn't know Gary very well, but he was a talented writer, writing songs for Mike Theodore and Dennis Coffey, for their Theo-Coff production company.
Among the many artiists that Gary wrote songs for were Rare Earth, Rodriguez and Mutzie. Our thoughts go out to Gary's family.
