Apparently this is Mitt Romney's father:
Carlo, you're the man,Thank you for posting these great photo's,The Supremes Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard, Diana Ross Cindy Birdsong,Jean Terrell,Lynda Laurence,Scherrie Payne, and Susaye Greene were the best female group,to ever hit the music world, and also the entertainment world.[[to me
Please stay positive)
Great photos Carlo. Thanks for sharing. How did you know that that was Mitt's dad? That's George Romney. He was once President of American Motors [[later bought out by Chysler). He was also Govenor of Michigan during the entire height of the Supremes' career, so this must have been a Detroit event.
Great Carlo-thx! That pic above the Jesse J photo, of them singing is one of the best Ive ever seen!!
Really great pictures Carlo! Thank you very much.
Marv
Nice run, Carlo. Many thanks.
Awesome pics! Thanks for sharing them.
Carlo,
Thanks for the pics. Awesome way to go back down memory lane. I know they were professionals and had to smile but, sometimes it looks as though they didn't know the camera was on them and they still were having a good time. At any rate thanks again.
That definitely is then-governor George Romney at the Michigan State Fair. There is a slightly different pose [[however same gowns, etc.) on page 154 of Hype & Soul [[Al Abrams excellent book).
Diana Ross is so pretty.
The pix of Mary, a woman, Tom Jones & Diana...is that Tom Jones' wife?LOL.
Thanks, Carlo...really enjoyed these photos. In so many ways it doesn't seem like that long ago.
You're welcome guys! I can't take credit for these photos, since I didn't take them myself, nor did I originally post them on the internet. I found them on different websites when I was searching Google last night. But I am more than happy to share!
Grea Pics.....Thanks SO much..Paulo xxx
I think Mary looks great in most of those shots. There were a few hair-don'ts, though
Great pictures!! I always felt Mary wore long wigs the best. Just about all of her long wigs looked good on her. Diana, on the other hand, always looked better with the shorter, bouffant wigs.
My goodness-in one pic Mary looks skinnier than Diana!
Great pics thanks!
Really great pictures...........thank you so much for sharing carlo
You're welcome.
Carlo, can you post more from the Jean era. I love seeing that grouping in the 60s gowns and the differences
The only rare Jean era photo I found during my search a few nights ago was the one I posted above. If I find more rare shots, I'll post them here.
I liked the pictures.
Is that woman the Duchess of Kent?
How about this one? Never seen it before, I wonder what show they were performing on
Duchess of Kent? I remember the Duke and Duchess of [...] were fans and thew the girls a party at their estate during the start of their 1968 European tour.
Great Pictures Carlo, thanks for sharing.

What a great link, thanks for posting. There were a few pictures that I have never seen before: 4, 7, 13, 19, 20, 40, 46.
Some are just iconic pictures of the group: 14, 15, 16, 24, 25, 29, 33, 43, 49
On 37 and 38 Florence looks miserable.
Pic 50 is my all time favorite picture of D. Ross
It was the Duke and Dutchess of Bedford. It was the 'thing' to do during the swinging sixties for the nobs to 'hang out' with pop stars. Today it all seems slightly absurd.
