    Motown girl group gems

Week commencing 28th March I'm having an hour long Motown girl-group special on my radio show. I'd like to include some great tracks that might have passed me by [[because back in the day I was so obsessed with the Jean & Scherrie-led Supremes) so can anyone enlighten me? I know there's Three Ounces Of Love [[Star Love) but I'd like to go further back [[Clark sisters?) and find some good stuff that didn't quite make it to the charts - but should have.

All contributions will be gratefully received.
    Stoned Love,
    Steve.

My Love Is Yours is my favorite song by the group. The song was produced by Willie Hutch and Gloria Jones.

Another great track SatansB!! Willie Hutch really did some great work with Sisters Love.

Here’s one of my other favourites:

Not quite as good Willie's own version, but still entirely awesome.

The late great Gwen Barry takes lead on this song, she also sang lead on their unreleased track His Honey Is Sweet.

For me this is a very interesting thread. I am very curious about the atmospheric between the groups Marvelettes Martha and The Vandellas, The Supremes and The Andantes, were there friends or more fighting between they. In my opinion The Marvelettes use the Andantes because of their voices, make better harmonies and a smoother sound. But for a lot of Vandellas albums they use only Martha Reeves and The Andantes without The Vandellas. And in the DRATS time we had a lot Andantes voices in the backround. And why made it not in the same way for the male groups? Well I think that The Marvelettes are one of the female groups which made not the total replacing like Martha and The Vandellas! What others think about these facts?
