    Daddy! You have a great memory. You see , while I listening to it this afternoon it made me remember that it came out at the start of summer in 1980. I wasn't in New York at the time. I was out West in Colorado when this song came out and it immediately was a hit with me and everybody else. The sound effects were awesome and Chaka........whew, what can you say about her powerful vocals needed to deliver a song like that!

    That mix in that setting , over that sound system ,is BURNED into my memory such that I can't help but flashback to it anytime I hear that track played. Major deja-vu.!!! The remix done 9 years later for The Remix Project ,"Life Is A Dance" just did not do it any justice, IMO, [[with respect to C&C). A Moulton or Morales remix is due right about now ,21 years later, you know????
