Brenda, Kim and the Miracles in Philly

They headlined Jerry Blavatt’s 40th anniversary show this past Saturday. My brother was at the Kimmel center where it was held and said it looked packed. Hopefully something g will appear on YouTube

Oh that sounds great, but Jerry Blavatt's 40th anniversary of what? He's been around a LOT longer than that! LOL!!!!

True lol! Apparently he started doing these shows 40 years ago! The Geator with the heater... Whatever that means!

I listened to Jerry Blavat in the early 80's [[Memories From Margate). He always talked through entire songs. It was a bit annoying.

Me too Johnny Raven. I listen to him in the mid 80s when I lived in Philly and worked in South Jersey. He was buddies with Little Nicky Scarfo back then.

In Cherry Hill and in Marlton. I've been to Ventnor. My company at that time also had plants in Barrington and Berlin, NJ.

Was it broadcast out of Philly or Vineland, NJ?

I know what you mean. I use to have that problem trying to watch Dark Shadows reruns on station out of Vineland NJ when I was living out in Valley Forge area.

...and Niagra Falls on WIBG, Joe Niagra.Blavat loved to "rap" through the records as they played over the radio.and don't forget WDAS with Jimmy Bishop and Georgie Woods.I was lucky enough to attend several shows at the Uptown Theatre as well as Georgie wood's Freedom shows at convention hall.

Oh yes. Wasn’t Bishop/Woods involved in Barbara Mason’s career?

Thanks for reporting the YouTube video of the Chantels. Great performance although I would have liked to see them face to face vs. sideways, but at any rate, what is shown is better than nothing.

Does anyone know if there are any YouTube videos of Kim Weston's performance at the show? What did she sing?
