Any more than any of the featured characters were paid in Henry Hill's book which became the film "Goodfellas"...It was a book by Otis based on his recollections. As much as I recall with fondness all of the classic Temptations...why would their heirs get royalties over anyone else's literary project???... It just doesn't work like that, and I can give dozens of examples...If Dennis wrote a book about his Temptations experiences, would Otis or anyone else expect check? And I'm sure Otis is not on the speed dial of Richards widow in the event Richards book produces a significant profit...While it's indeed sad that Otis is the only surviving Classic Temptation, it's his story to tell...
