You don't say....!
You don't say....!
I shall take that as a "Yes" then.
Or, as so many people are often heard to say : "I won't say no".
Mind you, if I don't actually get the last word, I'd still like to be in the final credits.
Umm guys,i think you have the wrong thread..i may be wrong but there is one about..last words.
Credits?? No credits.........cash or check westgrand.
You definitely need to check that WestGrand, Moe.....
I'm cashing in, westgrand!!
Grab it while you can, Moe......
It is better to give than to receive.
Thank you for that, 144man. I'm just sat here, looking at a HMRC payslip of £5016.95 for a payment of tax due by January 31st, and was wondering exactly what my feelings were....
YOU FEEL NUMB, westgrand..........parting with that $$$
I was expecting it Moe, so not sooooo bad..but still it's worse in £££££££, than in $$$$$$$
I understand. Property taxes are coming up soon here.
Mine was for Capital Gains, following sale of property, so at least it has left me with something. Do you not already have those taxes in US, or do you mean the level of taxation there is 'coming up soon'?
No we have capital gains as well as property taxes.
OK. Doesn't matter where you live. Tax is going to get ya....
If we want hospitals and schools, we've got to pay for them somehow.
Courtesy of us!
I stayed at school as long as I could, but I'm hoping I won't have to do the same in a hospital....
No.......food is bad & what can one say about the service??!!
I could cope with all of that, but am more concerned about the locked doors.....
Was that to keep you out or in?
In, definitely. I wouldn't mind being kept out of hospital.
Let me get this...you all are inschool but you would rather be in the hospital for the food????
Speaking just for myself, I left school 45 years ago, and then started to learn something. I took my own food into school with me in latter years.
After all the time that has since passed, if I were now to be in hospital for long, I'd likely be wanting the food made to my own recipes.

The hospital i'm in don't serve food, just electric shock treatments.
They generally come with each bill they present.
OH I DON'T FEEL A THING..[I have this wonderful elixur in my i.v.]
Caring always comes at a cost for somebody......
And somebody always cares........
Even if, at times, life would be much easier for them if they didn't...
PERFECT 144man!!!!!!!
We should have a party. Yes, let's have a 'knees up'. I'll play the piano, and I'll be looking to you and 144man to be absolutely word perfect with those lyrics, Moe! Bet you can beat Dick Van Dyke with the Cockney accent.....LOL
Piece of cake for us, right 144man?
I will let 144man speak for himself, and I just hope I can understand him...
As for cake, I have a newly baked fruit one, which I need to 'feed' today......
What kind of fruit??
Raisins, currants, prunes, glace cherries, candied peel, chopped mixed nuts...
Sounds delicious westgrand. Kindly send some over. Heavy snowfall right now.
Then I'd better get an airdrop arranged. Stand well back...
But first I'll need to finish feeding it. Caution: do not attempt to drive after even one slice.
Bet that made you Mum and Dad!
Too right! I don't like getting two-thirty.
NO! Before you could change your Dicky Dirt, you'd have had to go for a Blackpool Tower...
I don't like getting my barnet wet.
Especially when it's a Syrup of Figs.....
Did i miss english[101]today?
Why can't you go [[pun intended) with just plain MOM?
But is 'Milk of Magnesia' used in Cockney rhyming slang - ?
