    DRATS "I'm Living in Shame"

A question about the following performance. Diana completely skips the second verse [["In a college town....."), which, when listening to the song as a story, without the build up of the second verse, it doesn't make sense.

Was this a flub? Did Diana completely forget the second verse? Or was she instructed to "edit" the song? It doesn't look like the performance itself has been edited.

Diana, Mary and Cindy look great in this clip. These dresses were later recycled for the cover of "Right On."

It wasn't a flub. The girls sang three songs in this closing segment of the show. The producers probably just wanted to squeeze in as much as possible. Often hits were edited when they were performed in concert or on tv. Even now Diana does this, e.g. she never sings the second verse of TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING.
