I love "Baby Doll"!
finally got signed on. hello from Baltimore
wow, the memories......the classics. Bring It To Me. loved their harmony
Baby Doll was originally from Supremes sing Country
DBA will join us in a momento!
Howdy folks. Finally made it here!
Howard in Long Beach, CA
This is an awesome selection of Supremes tracks! Great work David!!
Loving the early stuff - great harmonies.
"Bring It On Home To Me" blew me away. Unbelievable! I generally feel that album is just mediocre and dull, but that song was incredible with the harmonies. I played my CD recently but never heard that song like I just heard it tonight. I haven't played my mono album in decades. Is that from the mono or stereo album or an alternate version?
Hi Davidba, thanks for the music
more expanded sets!!
Great interview David! And the show is awesome!!
So that proves it... the Mandante is on the unreleased version of "Stop In the Name Of Love"
Hi JP listening on the phone tonight. Have a great show and Happy70th Diana! Take care n be safe getting home after the show.
Well , blow me down... johnny, please be extremely careful going home after the show- or if necessary, sleep at the station!
love, LOVE this version of My world Is Empty Without You
My world is empty one of my favorite. Thank you MJ
Who's the Mandante on Stop?
The girls, regardless of who appeared on the singles, certainly blended in the most distinctive way, together, in concert.
John, can you give a shout out to TC and CT in Vallejo and please thank Miss Diana Ross for me
One of my very favorite B sides - "Every Thing Is Good About You". Just listen to the way Ms Ross sings this song - pure perfection.
Enjoyed what I've heard so far. Thanks John and David.
Logging off now, need to get to bed and get up early to deal with snowy roads for the morning commute, although only a couple of inches expected out here in Metro West. I hope it's not too bad for you John.
hello Andy!!!! we love you
Kenneth tuning in for the last half...
Tuned in just in time for Awesome Andy!!!
A Big shout out to Andy. Great stories.
Andy,
Any news on the re-issue front?
John,
My friend, Michael Mill, from Portland asked me to send you this:
"One of the reasons I am even more excited about being a Diana Ross Fan, 50 years later, is because of such supportive programs such as yours. Thank you John & David for such a special tribute. And please give another special 'Shout Out' to Andy Skurow. To me, Andy is the best thing to happen to Motown since the Birthday Girl herself first blithely sauntered up to the nearest lead microphone. Thank you, John!"
Geoff
Great B-Day tribute to Diana Ross this evening John, with David B's uber cool music mix, your guests, etc. I have special [[to me) l Diana Ross stories to share on the air later this evening if you'd like. Cheers. Mark
Thanks Andy! Good to hear from you.
always thought GOING DOWN FOR THE THIRD TIME could have been a hit
"Going Down For The Third Time" another b side favorite. Flo and Mary are really getting down in the background, loud and clear!!!!
Glad I didn't log off too quickly, I got to hear Andy. Loved the stories. Nice to hear he loves A' Go-Go, it's in my Top 5; WDOLG is my favorite, the stunning cover and the superb songs and vocals. Finally, good night. Oh no Going Down For The Third Time - will I ever get to bed?
Isn't it a weird phenomena that even though we all have all of these records it's so fun to hear them "live" on the radio? Something about hearing your favorite tune on the radio that still is exciting, all these years later, and even though you could play it whenever you wanted to anyway!
Wonderful Birthday Tribute for Diana! Thank you
Where/what was the track "Love I Here & Now your Gone" from?
It sounded like an alternate take

Since you're running late, I'll bet that most of us wouldn't mind at all if the 2 show Diana Ross 70th birthday tribute had to be extended to 3 shows in order to allow us to hear all that David has lovingly put together for our listening pleasure.
You KNOW that you've got the touch..... and by week 3, Andy just might, or perhaps, Andy & George might be at liberty to tell us more about their future plans on the Supremes legacy/story front.
