Even the records from the 60's!

He has 17 records on the top 100, 3 of the top 5 and the number 1 album!

    Different times, different times.

Such as, I'm sure the 80s, Michael Jackson / Lionel Richie outsold / mass produced more albums than Supremes did in 60s. At one point, even heard the Commodores is / was Motown's highest selling act. Mariah Carey / Boyz II Men outsold MJ and Richie in the 90s, with even more mass printings of demand of albums. And now, this age, probably assuming this "Bieber", I never liked him but well aware been a gigantic name for a few years now, been backed by mass lower/ middle class markets like Wal-Mart and Target.

Although, I thought this age is all about "Taylor Swift".

Radio report this morning; but worth checking Billboard for that and I will.

They did say that next week some of these new records will be broken by Miss Adele.

Justin Bieber might be smartening up and calming down maybe. It would be fortunate for him if he can so we don't end up with another tragedy.

I also see they are saying Cynthia Robinson of Sly and the Family Stone has passed away at age 69.

Why do you keep posting non-Motown news in the Motown forum?

  9. #9
Because he's breaking all the Motown Records too; it is relevant to any kind of interest; and the Motown Forum is the only one that gets the views.

Regardless if he's breaking records, he has nothing to do with Motown.

    Surely don't. +1

And until he matches the Supremes' record of 12 number one hits in five consecutive years, that ain't nothing.

Again, I call for the elimination of specific music forums and make it all one. That way, all music topics will be seen.

That bieber, always breaking stuff....now where is that glue???

One of my favorite topics is "which forum to post in".

Bieber is one lucky man, particularly for somebody that really isn't so special or talented.

You need a combination ~ looks, voice, attitude, personality ~ and the timing ~ and when you are the one in 50 million ~ it happens: the Beatles, Beyonce, Taylor Swift.
