Those were the Supremes. I hear Florence especially clear. This recent notion that the Supremes didn't do their own recording is insane.

I don't remember this commercial. Summer school, little league, a broken arm and just hanging around the neighborhood were the only "happenings" for me that summer. Oh...and a family vacation to EXPO 67 [[but that wasn't in Detroit). I think it's pretty ironic that they were so upbeat about all the great happenings that were planned for young folks in the summer of 1967.

Sadly, we all know how the summer of '67 actually turned out in Detroit.

I know who it is, but I'm not going to say anything...
