Many happy returns, Nettie. I've always felt it was kind of a shame that she had to jump ship just as Martha & The Vandellas were really starting to cook. Of course, this isn't meant to detract from what Betty brought to the act. It just seemed rather sad that Nettie worked quite hard to help lay a solid foundation and then didn't get to reap the rewards.
