Official Motown photo - the Funk Brothers

The Funks at an airport somewhere, a photo recently sold on ebay. From the left [[but I stand corrected) Robert White, Jack Ashford, Earl Van Dyke, Uriel Jones

Could be Robert White on the left. Definitely a young and slim Jack Ashford next to him. Then Earl VanDyke and Uriel Jones.

My apologies for asking:

I see lots of threads started with these photos and am a bit confused; how are these considered "Official Motown" photos? From what I've seen, some of them look like snapshots, nothing that I can see identifies them as Motown photos; no logos, copyrights, etc.

Am I missing something?

Copyrights and photographer notes on the back of them. Motown company stamp on all of them, and on many there is a date and notes about the negatives being filed and who took the photograph. "Official" may not be the best word to describe them, I would say "original" is better. I believe this one was taken by Frank Dandridge in '66, forget the exact date though.

I'm not really sure, but a strong guess would be 1966 when Kim appeared on "Ready, Steady, Go" while in the U.K. on tour.
