Decided to have a Drifter's weekend and was wondering if anyone knows what happened to this lead singer, Johnny Williams. There isn't much on the net about him. btw, this is one of my favorite Drifter's song.

I have always loved this one too, nosey. The beginning music and throughout almost sounds like "This Magic Moment". Williams sounds a lot like Clyde McPhatter. Good question..........

According to the booklet that came with the box set it said when the Drifters played his hometown in Alabama, he jumped ship. I'm wondering if he ever recorded again as a solo artist.
