    Your welcome, hm.

I use a few sources: first my personal collection; I also use discogs, allmusic, soulful kinda music, etc. More recently, Kamasu, a member here on SDF, suggested MusicVF.com. It's a great site with loads of info on artists, composers, charts, etc.

I got a lot more Van McCoy threads coming; he has a huge body of work - especially during the 60's era. I'll be listing his songs, even if I can't find the vids on YT.

Proliffic and poliedric songwriter! He was the master-minder in some great soul tunes by Gladys Knight, Brenda & The Tabulations, The Stylistics,...

My absolute favorite is "Break Down And Let It All Out" in the O'Jays' version [[I also knows the one by Nina Simone). The right combination between the lyrics, the melodramatic atmosfear and, in the case of The O'Jays cover, the underrated falsetto by Bill Powell, put this song in a high place on "the songbook" of my life.

A great salute to No Place Like Motown and to all!

    Hello Manny!

It's great to see you in the clubhouse. I love Nina Simone's version of BDALIAO; it's been a while since I've heard the O'Jays version, I need to pull it out and relisten.

    Cheers, buddy.
