The Young Vandals / Vandals [[T Neck)

Anyone have info on the Vandals [[aka Impact) early years in Baltimore ??
I know who the members were [[Otis Harris, etc.) and that they were massive Temptations fans who signed to T Neck Records in 1970 ....
3 x 45's were released [[the 1st initially as by the Young Tempts) .......
"I've Been Good To You / Too Busy Thinkin Bout My Baby" [[#917 - both Temptations songs)
    ........... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GeIPVIS0OM
    "In My Opinion P 1 & 2" [[#923) ...... http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=whas0JR4wYs
    "I'm Gonna Wait For You" [[#926) .... http://il.youtube.com/watch?v=7uuLBRSOaus

I wonder why the group weren't featured in the Isley's 'It's My Thing' film ??

They [[initially) split up in the fall of 1971 when Otis 'Damon' Harris joined the Temptations, but reformed as Impact in the mid 70's [[after Harris 'left' the Temptations).

Otis Harris was born in 1950 and I believe their group was formed in the mid 60's back at a Baltimore high school [[the member's home town). They used to perform on local talent shows with the likes of Frankie & the Spindles [[who landed a record deal with Roc-Ker in 1968 before going on to sign with G&H).
How the Vandals came to be spotted by the Isley Bros and were signed to T Neck I have no idea.
    Anyone help ???

The first single was issued as by The Young Vandals not The Young Temps.

The concert that became the basis of the film took place months before the group were signed
    - they were signed when their managers were out scouting for a recording deal.

Damon Harris said that the group was formed in Baltimore back in '63 when he was 13 - they
were a semi-professional group because of school commitments etc.
