The Trips were from L.A. That song was recorded in L.A. It sounds very typical of "The L.A. Sound", with "The Wrecking Crew" as the main session players. James Carmichael, Marc Gordon, H. B. Barnum, Ed Cobb, Miles Grayson, June Jones, Willie Hutch, Al Capps, Gene and Billy Page, Chester and Gary Pipkin, Anthony Renfro, Kent Harris, and Charles Wright helped produce and arrange that genre of music.
