    That link provoked me to go back and re-read the Theresa Lindsey story on the main site. She was a hell of a singer. I always wondered why George didn't try to recruit her for some of his later girl group projects. Jessica Cleaves aside, Theresa could outsing almost all the other ladies of P-Funk...hmmm....

    There was also a version by BILLY BUTLER on Brunswick, which for a while I thought was the original until I found out about the earlier version by THERESA LINDSEY ..
