    Well, from that I got that he did give her some whacks to snap her out of a mood! LOL. There are things Ike will probably never quite get.

    But there is his side to the story and I'm sure the movie took a lot of liberties with the truth and I'm sure Tina wasn't always "nice and easy".

    And Ike is the "left behind" party; and it is never easy to be walked away from by the STAR.

    One thing I can say about Ike Turner after movie was released, he knew a lot of people perceived him as a monster and wanted to kick his ass just because, so he was really nice and charming when he visited Memphis. It made you wonder if he was being real or just had mellowed with age? I've talked to people who knew Ike & ina back in the day, and many said he was terrible and that the film was far more truthful than factual. But Tina was tough too. One former Ikette said she was more afraid of Tina than Ike.
