"Tea-baggers" don't want to go back just to 2004, they want to go back to 1964 before the "Civil Rights Act."
This conservative "movement" has been in the works and well orchestrated since and before Ronald Regan became president. "Tea-baggers" are just the current pawns being used by the ultra powerful conservatives that have been steering the Republican Party...Fox News and it's rise since the 1990s is an important part of that plan. The choices for Republican presidential candidates including the two "Bush" presdients is no accident. The Iraq war was not a response to 911 - but a plan to place the US as a permanent presence in the country that has the largest of crude oil reserves on the planet. That GW Bush tried to push for the privatization of Social Security was not a "spontaneuos" idea...Sarah Palin, even though ultimately may not be electable as President is a weapon to recruit the vulnerable. Those who steer the elephant party don't really want her as President because she can not follow orders, but she is still useful to them right now.
Who are "they?" These are the most well known - and there are others:
Karl Rove
Dick Cheney
Rush Limbaugh
William Kristol [[The Evening Standard - a conservative propaganda rag)
Rupert Murdoch [[Fox News - though he may be in it more for the money than the philosophy)
Ultimately, what this "conservative" conglomerate wants is:
* Expand corporate control of America - which will benefit them financially at the expense of the middle and poorer classes
* Make Abortion against the law in all cases without exception
* Prevent Gay Marriage from being nationally legalized
* Do away with or privatize Social Security
* Do away with Medicare
* Do away with anything resembling "Affirmative Action"
* Ultimately control who comes into the country and become citizens and alter or repeal the 14th amendment that allows anyone who is born on US soil to be citizens
* Do away with separation of church and state
They hope to accomplish this by using fear on the ignorant [[Tea-baggers", etc.) to help them get Republicans elected, and will then discard them when they are no longer useful. The ultimate goal of this "white" and "conservative" movement is to make America once again mainly "White & "Conservative."
